During sewing together two layers of materials on a long section it happens that the upper layer is stuck by the presser foot while the bottom layer is moved forward by the feeder. That means they do not shift evenly with respect to each other. Consequently in the end of sewing one of the layers seams to be longer than the other. Usage of the MG-2003-DB guide enables separating the sewn layers from each other, i.e. eliminates described problem causing that the two layers are fed and sewn evenly. We get smooth, straight stitch, without puckering. Furthermore, the guide enables sewing together materials which are difficult in feeding because of their structure and thickness [the most often thin and slippery]. Adjusting the clearance between the guide plates we eliminate effect of the uncontrolled hemming of the material edge.
