Indispensable there, where the esthetic of fabric edging finish requires the beautiful decorating stitch (shell-shape stitch). 117 series is particularly used for delicate decorating (baby blankets, shawls, baby collars). 3 or 6 stitches per clam pattern, 6 mm of stitch depth, 7-17 mm of shell length, 2.8 mm of maximum fabric thickness, the maximum speed 1900 s.p.m.

For this machine we recommend SCHMETZ needles system 135x5 or 135x5 SERV7, with correct needle points, depending on the fabric.
