Proceeding with them requires experience and suitable technology. Times of very effective and fast-drying solvents for removing spots, based on chlorinated solvents passed away without any chance to come back in the end of nineties, because this method was harmful to health and environment and therefore forbidden in open application for European countries. Alternative solvents appeared on the market very quickly however, the time of their drying was definitely longer and the final effect not always satisfying. The most often occurring problem was remaining a bordering around the removed spot. Tests revealed that so far used guns and spot cleaning devices were insufficient for cooperation with the new, non-chlorinated solvents. So it was necessary to increase efficiency of the spot removal solvents.

KREBS has faced up to this challenge very early already. The goal they set themselves was to create alternative hardware for alternative solvents complying with all the existing legal restrictions and still do effective stain removal without ringing and this within a minimum of time. This goal has been fully achieved.

Currently they offer various spot removal systems with integrated drying and exhaust devices for various applications as well as different drying and exhaust devices as accessories to their spot cleaning guns.

The basic KREBS solvent for removing spots is Cleaner 580, a synthetic hydrocarbon, superbly dissolving fluid. The pallet of solvents contains also the special solvents K1 – K4 for dissolving specific and difficult particles of the spot.

K1: removes oil based stains (paint, pigment, lipstick)
K2: removes protein-containing spots (blood, milk, chocolate)
K3: removes spots of vegetables (coffee, tea, juice)
K4: for rust spots

The supplement of the KREBS effectiveness is CV-Concentrate, a water-soluble tenside concentrate, which can remove almost all types of spots.

The high know-how of KREBS is now also transferred into the new spot removal systems for upholstery. For the first time a mobile equipment will be introduced. The principle of KREBS 600 is the same as with the current systems, whereby the suction of this equipment is also integrated in the multi-function handle, so that “dissolving the spot – sucking off – drying” can be operated with one hand. For upholstery manufacturers that worked so far more or less successfully with spot removal solvents and compressed air drying device, this means a real innovation. KREBS developed especially for this equipment an improved spraying method working with less solvent and more fabric-friendly. The advantages are evident:
